About Nursing
Styles

Nursing Styles specializes in personalized home care for seniors, veterans, and adults who want to remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home throughout Pinellas, Pasco, and Sarasota Counties. We offer companion care, personal care, Alzheimer’s and dementia support, post-hospital care, and veteran-focused services through our partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and much more.

All of our care plans are built using a team approach that actively involves clients, families, caregivers, and clinical leadership. We believe the best care happens when everyone has a voice, and we work closely with families to tailor services that respect individual preferences, routines, and goals.

Serving the community since 1997, our leadership team brings decades of combined healthcare experience. Nursing Styles is a locally owned, non-franchise organization, and all of our caregivers are carefully vetted, hired, trained, and supported as employees—not independent contractors. This allows us to maintain consistent standards, accountability, and continuity of care.

We take pride in our experienced team, hands-on leadership, and commitment to treating every client with dignity, respect, and compassion—giving families confidence and peace of mind at every stage of care.

Shaun Carroll

Shaun Carroll

Owner & CEO, Administrator – Pinellas/Pasco

Shaun Carroll is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Nursing Styles and serves as Administrator for Pinellas and Pasco Counties. He brings more than 22 years of experience in emergency medical services and over a decade of leadership and management experience to his role in home care.

Shaun began his career in 2003 with a local fire department in Pinellas County, where he developed extensive hands-on experience responding to patients in their homes and providing emergency medical care in high-pressure, non-clinical environments. Over the course of his fire service career, he advanced through the ranks, serving as a Lieutenant, Assistant Chief of Emergency Medical Services, and District Chief. This firsthand exposure to the challenges families face in the home setting shaped his belief that high-quality care should be accessible, coordinated, and delivered with dignity where people are most comfortable.

Shaun earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2023, graduating with high honors. His combined background in healthcare operations, leadership, and business allows him to approach Nursing Styles with a focus on sustainable growth, strong clinical oversight, and a team-centered culture that prioritizes both clients and caregivers.

Known for his collaborative leadership style, Shaun is committed to bringing people together to solve problems, strengthen systems, and deliver exceptional care. He values clear communication, thoughtful decision-making, and creating an environment where team members feel heard, respected, and empowered to do their best work.

Shaun currently lives in central Pinellas County with his wife, son, and daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and fishing, and traveling to Colorado to ski.
